Hey!! Sure thing ….. Apple Butter, Apple Cider Vinegar, Avacado Oil, Garlic and Mustard Aoili (Trader Joes), Salt and Pepper, Mix all together,,, you choose your amounts, slice up a apple thin, put that in the salad, (we used a spring mix one time), we also got some spicy nuts mix and chopped them up! Put that in the salad. I dont Have a Trader Joe’s close to me so I googled their copycat recipe!! It was all so good!!! You can substitute Maple Syrup Incase you run out of Apple Butter! ENJOY!!I did go to one and get the TJ version, I haven’t tried it yet

Hi Alex! Unfortunately I do not have much experience with canning so I can’t advise. I do know others have reported canning it with success, but I’m not sure if any adjustments needed to be made.

Yes! To use the instant pot just add a cup of water and cook on high for 5 mins. I let mine natural release, but you could do a controlled release so the steam doesn’t go everywhere. This will give you apple sauce and you can use the immersion blender to get it smoother. I just made some and was looking for a recipe to turn it into apple butter. I’m going to do that on the stove to reduce the water content and not burn it. Following her recipe for spices and sugar of course… lol

Hi Joan! You can reduce the sugar if you’d like but it will alter the final flavor.

Hi Stacey! If your instant pot has the slow cooker setting on it, it could work. If it doesn’t have that setting, we’re not sure how it would work 🙁

it’s the easiest apple butter. childhood memories in a crockpot! I prep this up and start it at night, so when I wake up, it’s time to Puree it. I add extra spices and the juice of a lemon.

I have Made this like 5-6 times now! It’s fun to make! It tastes so good! Our daughter in law showed me this recipe. She turned some of the Apple Butter into a dressing for our salad. I have Experimented with different ingredients for a dressing and it’s incredible!! I have Passed all of my jars out to family and friends! Thanks again !!!

Delicious, I was nervous because I had to leave it in the slow cooker overnight and it was in there for a really long time and looked burnt. But once I pureed it, it was perfect.

In reply to Sam Merritt.

Great recipe! I left out the white sugar because it was a bit too sweet for me. I did add a Tablespoon of molasses, because I like the taste of it. This recipe uses just enough spice to enhance the apple flavors. It’s a keeper!!

Easy and delicious. I add sassafras powder and make it in double batches overnight.
