Hi Sam! First, let me tell you that I bake from your recipes all the time! You are my go-to girl! Most recently, I was in the mood to make muffins and came across your apple muffins recipe. They were a hit! I also baked blueberry muffins with your recipe the very next day! My husband loves blueberries… frozen berries off-season work just as well! It was a muffins weekend! Trying to keep the house warm. 😀Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. I look forward to trying your cinnamon rolls! I just need a little time.

Can I make these as mini-muffins? I would love to bring these to a potluck!

Hiya, this is the first recipe I’ve tried from your site. They were absolutely delicious! Due to time issues I had prepared both wet and dry ingredients a few hours before mixing together, apart from the eggs and sour cream(I couldn’t get buttermilk). Can’t wait to share with the rest of my family, thank you 😊

Hi Bella! I’m not sure how they would turn out. Whole wheat flour is a bit “thirstier” so it may require other alterations. 🙁

Hi Judy! Wheat flour is a bit thirstier so you may need other alterations and without having tried it I can’t say for sure how it would turn out. If you do try it I would love to know how it goes. 🙂

Hi, I wondered if these might work if I replace half the white flour with whole wheat flour? Thanks!

WOW! another fantastic recipe – yours never disappoint! made these with local apples from a friendship garden. 36 mini muffins – baked for 12 minutes – just sprinkled with coarse white sugar….YUM

In reply to Laura.

Hi! I just made these muffins and they are so tasty!! The only issue i had was that the topping was just too dry. As the muffins baked the topping started to fall off! Next time I make these I’ll just add more butter to make more of a wetter crumb and hopefully the topping will adhere to the muffins!

Hi,
Love your recipes they always turn out beautifully! Do you have a recipe for Raisin Bran muffins? Haven’t been able to find a really good one.
Thanks so much,
Pauline

Hmmmm these are the measurements I use in the video. Is it possible you may have accidentally over-measured your flour? It is very crumbly but should work together a bit like in the video.

Hi Joanna! I’m so sorry for this! I will make sure to update the post. I’m not sure how this video isn’t there. In the meantime, you can always find all of my videos on YouTube. 🙂

I ended up with loads left over and it didn’t come together like crumble. I added more butter but even then, it’s still very floury. Thanks.
