Honestly I recommend you consider a membership system for those who have tried many of your recipes and liked all of them. Members get ad free content.

In reply to Sam. Hi Sam! Looking forward to making this!! I enjoy your recipes and videos. Question, in the video, you cut the baklava on the diagonal first, then the 5 straight cuts. The written directions advise to do the opposite. Which order seems to work best for you? Like you, I struggle with cutting things perfectly straight and it's frustrating for me! Haha!!

Because Baklava is one of my favorite desserts, but hard to find locally, I decided to give it a try. After attempting your Braided Sweet Bread recipe, and the recipe being so easy to follow, along with your videos that help so much, to see it done visually, I knew I could finally attempt to make a Baklava. And I’m so glad I tried it, because the finished product was amazing. Thank you Sam, for another amazing recipe.

Hi Sam! I wanted to make baklava but thought it was out of my league. My hubby loves it, but hard to find. I stumbled across your social media, and your recipe came up. I always use your recipes but did not think of you + baklava. I wouldn’t have taken it on without watching your video. It was fantastic! It tested my patience. I went through 2 boxes of sheets! It was warm in CA, and keeping the sheets cold and moist was a challenge. I guess this is why so many bakers start early in the morning. Thanks again for producing another HIT!

This was great! I didn’t have cinnamon sticks so I added a sprinkle of cinnamon powder to the syrup and it turned out fine. My husband is from the Mediterranean region and he said it was really good baklava 🙂

I’ve made this baklava recipe twice! The first time was a surprise for my dad who is a baklava lover. He was scouring different stores, and couldn’t seem to find it anywhere. I noticed recipe – and it was so easy to follow and tasted perfect. I just made it again today because in lieu of a birthday cake my dad wanted this beautiful baklava! Thank you, Sam – your recipes are truly wonderful! 🙂

Wow! It looks so good. You’re so talented. When we want to eat a good Baklava we drive 30 minutes to the Druze village Usafia. ( I have always considered it an Arab dessert) looks challanging but worth it. Hope Ill be able to find the time to make it.
