In reply to Sherry Wood. Hi Sherry! I haven't personally tried ground turkey, but I think it could work. Turkey is, by nature, a little bit drier so they may be a touch drier but they should still turn out. :)

How are these if turkey is substituted for the chicken?

I made these tonight and they were a massive hit. Most chicken meatballs I’ve tried in the past ended up dry, but these were unbelievably juicy and flavorful. The balance between the savory chicken and the tangy BBQ sauce is spot on.

They were surprisingly quick to whip up, making them perfect for a weeknight dinner, though they’d be great as a party appetizer too. I served mine over mashed potatoes, and the extra sauce was incredible. If you’re looking for an easy crowd-pleaser, this is it!
