In reply to Carol Boehm. Hi Carol! I do have a sweet potato casserole if you are looking for that, but the pecans and marshmallows would work here. I would add them a bit later in the baking process so they don't brown too quickly. The marshmallows would only take about 15 minutes to brown. :)

Your recipe is just like what my mother made for every holiday meal in our house. We always referred to them as Candied Yams! Love this. We cannot have a Thanksgiving dinner without my Candied Yams!
