Just made this for the first time and WOW is it delicious! Absolutely will be adding this to my rotation of soups. It’s perfect for the cold winter weather here in Michigan. Was the rice you used actually a combination of white rice and wild rice (wild rice is black and the video looked like a mixture)?

I’ve made this multiple times and it is so good. I add a little bit of chili powder and cayenne to give the soup a bit of spice. Otherwise I made it exactly as the recipe calls for!

If you happen to have leftover soup use a slotted spoon to remove as much rice and veggies/chicken as possible to separate containers . refrig the broth from the solids. The next day just heat up broth when bubbling add solids . Perfect no overcooked mushy rice! Also wild rice or brown rice hold up longer than white rice.

I have made this easy delicious soup twice and everyone loves it. I do bake the chicken in the oven and then add to the soup.

Turned into more of a stew than soup for me but I might have added a little too much rice. It was soooooo good though! And I love that you put the measure of the ingredients in the directions! I hate having to keep scrolling up to double check the amount of each ingredient.

Delicious soup and easy to put together. I was a little skeptical about the smoked paprika, but it worked very well. i appreciate the weights along with the measurements as size of vegetables can vary so much. I’m looking forward to making the baked potato soup. Thanks for this recipe. I’ll be making it on repeat.

this soup was a huge hit! I used evaporated milk instead of heavy cream because thats what I had and it was incredible. 3 of us polished off the whole pot and I’m being asked to make it again, which is unusual for my non soup loving family.
