Excellent recipe! The cookies came out perfectly at 10 minutes. On the first batch, I used too much flour on the counter. However, the cookies still turned out perfect. Definitely keeping this recipe.

I can’t believe how delicious these cookies are!! I have tried many chocolate sugar cookies and was so disappointed, but I have found the perfect one for holiday cookies. Thank you for the receipe. Can’t stop eating these.

I baked them this morning and they came out perfect! They kept their shape and they taste ever so nice. I made stars, hearts and four large hearts, which I will decorate with royal icing! Thank you for the recipe and Merry Christmas!

These are seriously amazing. I also used your vanilla cut out sugar cookie recipe and that is also great. But there is something extra special about these chocolate ones! I won’t go another Xmas again without making them!!

In reply to Toni. Hi Tony! Was it the sugar you wanted to cut to 1/2 cup? I would not recommend it, the cookies won't be as sweet if you do and they may be more puffy.

In reply to Lyndsey. Hi Lyndsey! The buttercream will be a little sweeter but if that's what you prefer that's fine. It won't quite set the same as this frosting so I wouldn't recommend trying to stack them. :)
