Your Easy Drop Biscuits are indeed easy to make. Melting the butter is pure genius, so much easier than combining chunks of cold butter. Biscuits are so tasty there are no leftovers. Next time I’ll double the batch.

Even though I verified I used a proper amount of everything in the recipe. My biscuit dough turned out to be more like cake batter. I chuckled and went ahead and scooped it onto parchment and baked it. Anyway, the result was sort of a flattened, biscuit like object with very crispy bottom and light and fluffy inside, so it was very tasty, and I was not disappointed. Other than it didn ‘t look right.

In reply to Cho. Hi Cho! I'm not sure how freezing the dough would work. It's a little soft and a tad sticky so that could be tricky. You shouldn't have any issues wrapping and freezing the baked biscuits though. :)

These are delicious and I make them frequently for my family. If I happen to make more dough than I need can they be frozen? If so how should they be stored and then how long to bake from the freezer?

These are the best biscuits I have ever made. I always had trouble with the dough. This is wonderful to work with and so easy.

I have made these biscuits quite a few times now and this is by far my favorite recipe for drop biscuits. They come together really nicely and the taste is awesome

I just made these drop biscuits. They are quick and easy and taste excellent. I added sparking sanding sugar on top. I will definitely make these again.

Easy and excellent. I did cut the sugar to 1 tablespoon. Next time I will try to sub in 1/2 whole wheat flour to see how that works.

Thank you so much for an awesome drop biscuit recipe! I have never had good results with drop biscuits until i tried your recipe. My family does use Einkorn flour, (an ancient wheat with lower gluten) which absorbs water differently, so the first time i made them they looked more like pancakes! However, because of the flavor and texture and ease, I decided to try again, this time with a little less water and a bit more flour. They were fantastic! finally, i can make nice and soft biscuits! I think I'll be making this recipe so often, I'll have it memorized pretty soon! So thank you for all the time, ingredients, and hard work you put into every recipe, I can't wait to try more of them!
