Hi Janice! It contributes to a soft, tender texture. We hope you love them!

Hi Carol! They will be good for about 4 days at room temperature in an air tight container. I haven’t personally frozen them but you shouldn’t have any issues doing so. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Tanvi! I’m so glad they were such a hit! You could add about 1.75 cups of blueberries, maybe a little less if using chocolate chips. ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely love this. My son’s asking me to add choco chips or blueberries to this. What quantity do you suggest?

Hi Kary! I think 1 cup to 1.5 cups could work. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m so glad you enjoyed them, Noelle! I typically don’t have much left over. You can see how much I have left in the video around the 4:00 mark. ๐Ÿ™‚

Is this normal for there to be that much left over? I packed on as much as I could on the muffins. Very tasty tho:)

The crowns are so beautiful.
My granddaughter said the muffins were the best she had ever eaten In her13 year life.
We traveled with them for 3 days. They did not break up into pieces.
Thank you so much.

This is my favorite muffin recipe! Made it on a whim as I love the blueberry muffin, lemon muffin and strawberry muffin recipes, but wanted something different. Would highly recommend this recipe with no changes.

Hi Diana! We haven’t done this, so we can’t say for sure; however, we think it should work fine! For the buttermilk, you can use some slightly watered-down sour cream or just use our buttermilk substitute. Please let us know how they turn out for you! ๐Ÿ™‚

I always keep old fashioned oats on hand and I can also get the buttermilk but just wondered about the subs I mentioned….thank you for your response.

Hi Angela! I have not tried reducing sugars, but I know other readers do this for many recipes. Obviously it will change the taste but the muffins should still turn out. ๐Ÿ™‚

In reply to Sam.

Iโ€™m not sure why I canโ€™t reply to your later message. No, it was AP flour. I keep the self rising in a different place. I think muffin tins are a standard size, and I actually used s different tin this tome. Anyway, they were tender and delicious, so I donโ€™t care too much that theyโ€™re ugly. It will probably be a while before I make these again, but Iโ€™ll let you know how they are.

Hmmm I really wonder if your pan is slightly smaller than mine. It’s just important to worry about how high the batter is in each cavity. Just one more thing to check, you are not using self rising flour correct? I am having a hard time trying to figure out why the batter would go around the streusel. The streusel should be embedded but shouldn’t be consumed by the actual muffin. I hope the third time is a charm. ๐Ÿ™‚
