Hi Daphne! I don’t think you would have any issues using golden oreos. You could bake them together they may just take an extra minute or two.

This was one of my favorite dessert recipes in college (this and your edible cookie dough!). I haven’t made it in a few years because I don’t trust myself to have any self-control, haha! But I will be making it this weekend for our small group. I’ll probably make two batches to make sure there’s enough, and I have been informed by some in the group that they are fans of golden oreos. Do you think if I made one batch with golden oreos instead of regular, they would turn out okay? And do you think I could bake both at once, or should I only do one cheesecake at a time? It should work, though we typically recommend full fat sour cream, so try to use something similar to that! 😊
