Hi are these ok to freeze before cooking, so I can pre make a huge batch then just bake a few as and when?

In reply to Laura. Hi Laura, we haven't tried this but if we had to guess it could probably be baked in a 9x13 pan. Not sure of the baking time, but if you try it please let us know, we'd love to know how it turns out!

Perfect amount of pumpkin flavor! Was looking for a good chewy cookie, not cakey (how most pumpkin cookies are) and this is it!
Also added some white choc chips to a few on the cookie sheet right before baking, which is delicious too. This is a permanent recipe in my cookie aresenal! Thank you!

In reply to Patty. I'm so sorry to hear this is happening, Patty! Are you weighing your flour? If not you may accidentally be adding too much in. If that isn't the issue, the next thing I would check is your baking soda/powder. If those are bad the cookies won't spread. :(

Hi Sam,
I followed the recipe exactly like you wrote it. I read your instructions carefully and also saw the video of you baking these cookies. My cookies never spread out….What am I doing wrong? Should I caliber my oven? I make sure not to over bake, also not to over mix. The taste was delicious, but my cookies turned into lumps instead of thinly spread out cookies like your picture shows. Please help! Thanks

Hi! I want to make something with pumpkin that is more chewy like a blondie – would you suggest that I make these in a bar form? If so, what size pan would be best (8×8, 9×9 or 9×13?). Or do your pumpkin bars come out more bondie-like-texture? Thanks for any help here! xo

I love all of your recipe’s I make them often , this is one of the best pumpkin cookies I’ve ever had they’re so soft and tender, I used semi sweet , milk chocolate and white chocolate chips and yumm…your cookie recipes will always be a number one go to for me. especially the worst chocolate chip, I stuff them with whole oreos

The combination of pumpkin and chocolate seemed strange at first, but this recipe kept tugging at me. I’m so glad I gave it a try. The flavors and spices blend beautifully, and the cookies turned out just as advertised. Soft, chewy, and addictive! Another winner from Sam!
