Flavor was amazing; however, my steak mixture appeared overly wet and the patties broke apart while browning them on the stove top. I’m not sure what I did wrong–perhaps misread a wet ingredient amount–but, I will definitely make the recipe again. Thanks for a nice recipe, Sam.

Simple and delicious as written. However since I don’t eat red meat, I ground up boneless chicken breast and followed as written. Only thingI added was a splash of gravy master/kitchen bouquet to turn chicken brown like red meat. Absolutley perfect!

This recipe is a winner. I’ve made it so many times and everyone in my family loves it! I have a newborn and a 3 year old and this Salisbury steak is fast and simple enough to throw together on busy afternoons. It’s best with ground beef as written but I’ve also made it successfully with ground turkey, I just had to increase the amount of breadcrumbs a tad. Thank you Sam for another amazing recipe- you are my go-to whenever I want to cook something!
